Didmus Barasa in Hot Water as Sh4M Lawyer Fees Lead to Asset Seizure
Breaking: MP Didmus Barasa Faces Asset Seizure Over Unpaid Sh4M Legal Fees

An auctioneer has initiated the sale of a helicopter and six vehicles owned by Didmus Barasa, the Member of Parliament for Kimilili, in order to recover a debt of Sh4.4 million owed to a law firm.

Betico Auctioneers have taken possession of the helicopter, which is appraised at Sh2 million, along with the vehicles, each valued between Sh500,000 and Sh1 million.
In addition to these assets, various household items have also been seized as part of the effort to settle the outstanding debt to the legal firm. This action underscores the serious financial implications of unpaid obligations and the measures that can be taken to enforce debt recovery.
