Caroline Mumbi,Gideon Kiprotich Rino Charged With Sh 3.5 M Mobityres Fraud.

Two directors of a company have been accused of committing fraud involving Sh 3.5 million related to Autotyres. Caroline Mumbi and Gideon Kiprotich Rino appeared in front of Magistrate Geoffrey Onsarigo, where they pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.

The court heard that the alleged offenses took place on various dates between October 6, 2018, and December 20, 2018, at the offices of Mobityres Autosev Limited in Nairobi. It is claimed that the two individuals stole a total of 270 tyres of various sizes, specifically of the Nexen brand, which are valued at Sh 3,544,000. These tyres were reportedly the property of Ogle Ali Musleh, the director of Mobityres and Autoserve Limited. Following their court appearance, both directors were granted release on a cash bail of Sh 100,000.
